So you love your new job that allows you to work at home. You can be your own boss, create your own work schedule, eliminate commuting, and best of all, spend more time with your kids. But what do you do with your kids when you are working? Being a mom is a full time job that pays abundantly in ways that money could never measure up to. But sometimes it’s difficult to manage this full time job AND a part time job that pays in cash. Here are a few tips for moms to manage their work time and their play time, allowing them to have a job that gets them a descent income and still do the job they are best at: raising their children.

Get some help

Having a relative or a neighbor come and spend time with your kids is one of the best things you can do. It allows your kids to spend time doing fun and/or educational things with an adult, and it allows you to focus completely on the task at hand. That way, you get done faster so that YOU can spend quality time with your kids. It is extremely important that you know the person babysitting your kids, and that you trust them entirely. Whether you know the babysitter or not, you should always be close by, or know where they’re going and when they’ll be back.

Letting the husband take over

If you choose to work during the hours that your husband is home, it might be a good idea to give complete charge of your children to him, so that you can focus better and complete your tasks more efficiently. And the best part is, babysitting is free when you get your husband to do it!
