One of my favorite things to see is when companies combine good marketing with charity. GalleryCollection.com is running a greetings cards scholarship contest as a way of getting themselves some new material and at the same time contributing to the education of the contest entrants.
The company, which specializes inBusiness Christmas cards is asking entrants to create unique holiday, birthday, or greeting cards and they’ll choose one winner. That winner will receive a $10,000 scholarship. I think this is a great thing - you have a company that is looking to further its own goals, but has found a way to share their success with people who are looking to further their education.
